Welcome to the BHS Media Center
Media Center Blog
BHS has a fully-equipped media center with various print and digital media. The media center is staffed by a professionally certified media specialist along with staff. Students may use the media center with passes from teachers during school, with their class, during lunch, or immediately prior to or after school each day.
Students are expected to exhibit quiet courtesy to other students when using the media center and to return materials to the appropriate area when through using them. Books and other materials should be returned when due. Overdue, lost, or damaged books may have fines assessed. Students with overdue or lost books are denied loan privileges until overdue or lost fees are cleared.
Students may take tests on books through the Reading Counts program. Through the Georgia Peach and Million Words Reading Incentive Program, students may earn the chance to participate in a drawing at the end of the year for $100 Bainbridge Bucks. Grade levels compete for a pizza party which goes to the advisement group with the most words read.
The Media Center offers a wide variety of electronic information. See the Student Electronic Resources List. Help with MLA format and much more information such as Georgia Peach books, BHS Book Club, What I Should Read Next, etc is available HERE
