Bearcat Basics Registration

All BHS Freshmen and new students are invited to attend Bearcat Basics! Bearcat Basics is an informative introduction to high school. During the Bearcat Basics Session students will be provided information regarding but not limited to:

• Arrival at School (Buses, parent drop off, riding with other students)
• Where to go before school
• Advisements
• Class Changes (recommended routes)
• Lunches (line locations, appropriate places during lunch)
• Departure at the end of school day

Please complete the online form or the printed form by July 14, 2016. Parents are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Senior Portraits July 25-28, 2016

Attached is a BPI flyer with a QR code and 2017 senior registration information. When scanned this will launch the student/parent into a Google form that allows them to share their current mailing and contact information with BPI to receive important 2017 senior portrait information and as an incentive the student will be entered to win a free photo session.

Starting today, Get Georgia Reading partner myON is delivering more than 10,400 free books to computer and mobile devices that you can access 24 hours a day—every day—through Aug. 31. Last year, kids read over 100,000 books. This year, as you’ll see in the story under “Ready, Set, Read” — the Get Georgia Reading Campaign is challenging Georgia to double that number.

Petition for Awarding of High School Diploma

If you failed to graduate from Bainbridge High School solely due to failing the Georgia High School Graduation Test or the Georgia High School Writing Test or the Basic Skills Test you may complete this form to petition the Decatur County Board of Education. Your eligibility to receive a high school diploma will be determined based on the graduation requirements in effect when you first entered ninth grade.
