Tracy Poppell, Head Swim Coach; Zach McConnell. Assistant Rayneau Victor, was selected as an official winner of the 2017 Disney Dreamers Academy Essay Contest!  The prize package includes an invitation to attend Disney Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and ESSENCE® magazine.  The Academy will be held at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida over March 9-12, 2017.  It is our intent to teach the 100+ high school students how to Dream BIG and Discover the Possibilities.  The weekend will include educational sessions, guest speakers, and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the living classroom of the Walt Disney World® Resort.  As we have discovered over the last nine years of this program, it can be life-changing for the students and continues to be awe-inspiring for our Cast. Great news!  Mrs. Lightfoot finished her last chemo treatment and is ready to celebrate.   She misses everyone at BHS, and we miss her.   Students, faculty, and staff poised to cheer Mrs. Lightfoot's victory! HONORS 9th Grade Lit/Comp Summer Reading Assignment

Congratulations on your enrollment in the HONORS 9th Grade Literature & Composition class for the upcoming school year!  This is an advanced class which includes required reading and responding.  Getting started in the summer provides you with initial preparation for the course you will take next year and allows you the flexibility to work on your own schedule at your own pace; however, do not wait until the last minute to complete these assignments!  If you need the books, they can be picked up from the BHS Guidance Dept.

Seniors can book an appointment to come to our Tifton Studio if they can not attend the picture day at the school or would like to our Prestige session (which is only offered in our studios).   Online Booking

If a student is taking pictures at the school they do not need to make an appointment we will send an appointment card to their home two weeks prior to picture day at the school.

Exciting news, everyone!

Underway now, Get Georgia Reading Campaign partner myON is delivering thousands of free books to computer and mobile devices that you can access 24 hours a day—every day—through Aug. 31.

Last summer, kids throughout the state read 248,901 books and spent 55,831 hours reading. This year, we are challenging Georgia to top last year’s numbers by reading more than 250,000 books and spending over 60,000 hours reading.
