Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis Tryouts will be January 10th and 11th (Wednesday and Thursday) from 3:15-5:30 p.m.  You must be able to play tennis and be academically eligible.  Please sign up with Coach Thomas before 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, if you plan to try out. All student athletes must have a current physical on file before they may try out.

TSA will meet from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12th.

Attention Girls:  Any 2017 Diamond Dolls interested in returning for the 2018 Baseball Season should sign up in room 2202 or email Mrs. Burrell at kcburrell@dcboe.com by Friday, January 12th.  Information is forthcoming for new girls interested in filling empty slots.

Scholarship Overview: The Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship is available to undergraduates who were athletes at the high school level. You do not need to be an athlete at the college level.  Application deadline is June 1st.  The award amount is $1000.  Eligibility Requirements are former high school athletes who are enrolled as a full-time student at a two or four-year college.  Application Instructions: See website (website here: https://www.athleticscholarships.net/scholarship-contest.htm)

A Bainbridge High School class ring has been found; please see Mrs. Wells in Guidance.  You must be able to identify it in order to claim it.

Baseball Tryouts will begin on January 15th.  You will need to have a current physical and proof of insurance on file with the trainer.  Please see Coach Brown to confirm whether or not you have these forms on file with the school. You must also be academically eligible. 

Georgia District Civitan Foundation, Inc. has two scholarship opportunities for Seniors:  2017-2018 Alice Dodd Scholarship for Outstanding Community Service and the 2017-2018 Bobby Dodd Scholarship for Outstanding Community Service (awarded to a physically challenged student).  For more information, please come to guidance.

Regional Partners Network - Youth Development Committee 2018 Youth Summit for Southwest Georgia will take place Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Southwest Georgia RESA located at 570 Martin Luther King, Jr. Road, Camilla, Georgia 31730 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The Youth Summit will offer guidance to students on career opportunities after high school.  The sessions will cover careers, leadership skills, financial literacy and so much more!  The students will be able to interact with students from neighboring schools and a dynamic group of leaders.  If you would like to nominate Junior and Senior students pick up a brochure from guidance.

ABAC Stallion Days are hosted on February 3rd and April 7th and are a fantastic chance for students to experience ABAC!  For more information go to www.abac.edu 

The GFB Foundation for Agriculture strives to provide students with an opportunity to succeed as they study agriculture-related courses.  There are several scholarships opportunities available to students, each with varying criteria and eligibility requirements. This year, we are providing over $60,000 worth of scholarships to students in the following areas: high school seniors, rising college juniors and seniors, technical college students and students at the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine.  Applications for the 2018 cycle are now available at http://www.gfbfoundation.org/aitc_scholarships.html. Completed applications are due March 2, 2018.  Please note, this year, applications are to be submitted ONLINE only. Hard copy applications will not be accepted, however, transcripts and letters of recommendations will be accepted in either online or hard copy format.  If you have any questions regarding the scholarship program, please contact Katie Gazda at kngazda@gfb.org or (478) 474-0679, ext. 5230.

Free math tutoring will be available every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Math Tutoring Center room 1225.  Students must have a pass from their classroom teacher, pencil, paper, and sample problems they need help with.  All students must sign in and out.

Morning Traffic Flow:  All students coming from Bainbridge must enter the campus via the west gate (bus gate); only students entering campus from the east (Climax) should enter via the main gate.  All student drop off is in the front of the school and parents dropping off should enter the main gate.

School Parking at BHS requires a parking permit. Honors Parking is the first row nearest the English/Fine Arts wing.  Senior Row is the second row from the English/Fine Arts wing.  Only students with Honors Parking permits are allowed to park on Honors Row, and only seniors are to park on Senior Row.

All students who drive to school are required to have a Parking Permit.  Permits are $10 and can be purchased from Mrs. Wooten in the front office.  Students who are ticketed for not having a parking permit will be fined $20.

Certificate of Attendance/Enrollment:  Students requesting Certificate of Attendance/Enrollment MUST sign up on Mondays in the Administrative Office. Certificates will be available for pick up on Wednesday.  There will be a $1.00 charge for certificates.

LUNCH MENU:  Chicken Tenders or Pizza, Rolls, Golden Corn, Tater Tots, Marinara Sauce, Vegetable of the Day, Fresh Garden Salad, Fresh Fruit, Milk
