School Choice Week April 24th - 28th

The Decatur County Board of Education requires that all students attend the school in the zone in which they reside unless they are in a specialized program that contains students across school zones.  Any exceptions to this policy must be made through the “School Choice Plan.”

When: Wednesday, April 26th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Where: Decatur County Student Support Center

Exceptional Education Office

507 Martin Street in West Bainbridge

Documents needed for registration:

  • *Birth Certificate
  • *Proof of Residency- (Accepted documents include electric, gas, landline phone, water bill, rent receipt with landlord’s contact information or mortgage payment, vehicle registration, property tax notice, homeowner’s insurance bill. Documentation not accepted includes driver’s license or cell phone bill. )
  • Social Security Card
  • Immunization Form 3231
  • Medicaid Card, Food Stamp Card, TANF or SSI Award Letter

*Must have to complete registration

Pre-K Registration is conducted on a first come first serve basis. Classes are filling quickly. To guarantee a spot, please ensure your child is registered.
