Please Review Rules and Procedures with Your Kindergarten Student
We come to school to learn.
We do not come to school to play and be silly.
Rules keep me safe. Rules keep other people safe.
We need to listen with our whole body. This includes listening ears, watching eyes, and thinking brains.
We must sit on our bottoms, criss-cross applesauce on the rug.
Our hands go in our lap.
We do not put our hands on anyone else’s body. Keep your hands to yourself.
Keep our eyes on the teacher or the adult who is speaking.
We have manners when a visitor enters the room.
We must follow all rules and procedures of the school and classroom.
We respect adults and other students.
We use indoor voices inside and outdoor voices outside.
We walk in the third tile, eyes facing forward, feet facing forward, lips zipped, and in a straight line.
We must use manners in the lunchroom. No throwing food, crawling under the table, etc..
We must use manners in the restroom. No playing in the sink, throwing water, standing on toilets, etc..
We close our mouths and do not talk when an adult is talking.
We raise one finger when we have a question. We raise two fingers when we need to use the restroom.
Please review the WBE Discipline Plan found in the WBE Handbook.
