Early Release--December 4, 2015

The Decatur County Board of Education wishes to inform you that your child(ren) will be released from school early on Friday, December 4,  2015.  The early release schedule will be as follows:

  • Bainbridge High School and Hutto Middle School-Released at 12:30 pm
  • Bainbridge Middle School-Released at 12:45 pm
  • All Elementary Schools except JWE & WBE-Released at 1:00 pm
  • JWE & WBE Elementary-Released at 1:05 pm

The early release time is needed to provide the travel time and flexibility needed for our participation in the state semifinal football game in Cartersville, Georgia Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

BHS vs Cartersville Tickets

Tickets for BHS vs Cartersville will be sold at BHS beginning Monday, November 30th thru Wednesday, December 2nd from 8 until 4 and Thursday, December 3rd from 8 until 12. Student tickets are $13 and adult tickets are $15.

C. A. F. E. Session December 1, 2015

A School, Community and Family Stakeholder Team Working in Partnership with the GA Department of Education, the IDEA Partnership and the US Office of Special Education Programs to Improve local student outcomes.

The next Student Success C.A.F.E. full stakeholder team session will be Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jones-Wheat Elementary School, 1401 E. Shotwell St., Bainbridge. Please see discussion assignments at the end.

Petition for Awarding of High School Diploma

If you failed to graduate from Bainbridge High School solely due to failing the Georgia High School Graduation Test or the Georgia High School Writing Test or the Basic Skills Test you may complete this form to petition the Decatur County Board of Education. Your eligibility to receive a high school diploma will be determined based on the graduation requirements in effect when you first entered ninth grade.
