I am thankful for the opportunity to teach math at Bainbridge High School another year. This is my 14th year as a high school math teacher. I taught five years in Newton Georgia at Baker County K-12 School and this is my ninth year as a Bainbridge High School math teacher. I am looking forward to teaching our new students and helping them to have a successful year.
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology at DeVry Institute of Technology. I became certified to teach secondary mathematics after completing the Southwest Georgia RESA TAPP (Georgia Teacher's Alternative Preparation Program). I have earned a Master of Education Degree with a major in Secondary Mathematics at Albany State University and completed the gifted endorsement program through Middle Georgia RESA.
While attending Devry, I met a wonderful young lady, (Ernestine Joy Jones) and after graduating we married. Presently, we have three sons: Branden, Bradley, and our youngest, Brent. I am proud to say that Branden and Bradley are both graduates of Bainbridge High School and they are off to a great start in their early careers. Brent is also off to a great start at Jones-Wheat Elementary.
