I want to welcome all of our upcoming freshmen to BHS and say “welcome back” to our returning students. I hope you will have successful and exciting year. I am excited to be starting my twenty-seventh year with the BHS family.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southwestern University. I will be teaching Read 180 and 9th grade Literature.
I am married to Clay Roland. I have three children, Jared Lovering, science teacher at Bainbridge High School; Heather Harrell, Chief Deputy Clerk of Court in Miller County; and Jonas Lovering, IT Technician for Hollis Cobb in Flowery Branch, GA. I also have four grandchildren: Brycen Curles, a former Bearcat, Teghyn Curles (17) a junior at BHS and Paxtyn Curles (15), a sophomore at BHS; and Brianna Lovering (17) who attends school in Bremen, GA with a dual enrollment at the University of West GA.
