Parent and Family Engagement - On the Road in Attapulgus

Our leadership team hit the road to connect with the Attapulgus community at the Community Center. The meeting, led by Decatur County Board of Education, Board Member Kelvin Bouie, provided an invaluable opportunity for community members to hear directly from our directors and receive important updates on all schools across the county.We were also honored to have the Mayor of Attapulgus, Art King, in attendance, showing his support for the Decatur County School System.After the presentations, community members participated in a lively Q&A session, engaging with our school system leaders to ensure that every voice is heard. Before leaving, guests were given goodie bags packed with information and resources to help navigate the 2024-2025 school year.A big thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped coordinate this event.
