DDS (Department of Driver Services) will be at BHS on Tuesday, May 14th during all lunches in the cafeteria. Please stop by to obtain information on how to get your driver’s license.
Attention Students: If you are interested in being part of the Bainbridge High School cheerleading team as Buddy/Bella Bearcat, please pick up an application packet from Mrs. Marcie Jones in the administrative office. Application packets must be returned no later than Tuesday, May 14th. No late applications will be accepted.
National Honor Society Inductees who did not participate in the Induction Ceremony may pick up their certificates from Mrs. S. Close in Room 3119 (downstairs science hall last room on the right).
The last day to take a test on a Georgia Peach Book for the Honor's Day Drawing for $100 Bainbridge Bucks is May 16th.
Attention Seniors: Friday, May 10th is the last day to pay Senior Debts by check.
Attention Students: If you have any books from previous semesters, textbooks or library books, please turn them in to Mrs. Wooten in the administrative office.
Seniors: All library books are due to be returned by May 10th. Please make sure to turn in all your library items.
Driver's Ed Summer courses are June 3rd -14th. Session 1 is from 8 a.m. - 12 noon and Session 2 is from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Students should sign up on the OFFICIAL sign-up sheet in Guidance. Even if you have previously spoken with your counselors, students should personally come to Guidance to sign up for the session they would like to take. Spots are limited, and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Certificate of Attendance/Enrollment: Students requesting Certificate of Attendance/Enrollment MUST sign up online on the BHS website page; go to Quick Links, Certificate of Enrollment to sign up. Students must sign up by Monday midnight. Certificates will be available for pick up on Wednesday. There will be a $1.00 charge for certificates.
Morning Traffic Flow: All students coming from Bainbridge must enter the campus via the west gate (bus gate); only students entering campus from the east
(Climax) should enter via the main gate. All student drop off is in the front of the school and parents dropping off should enter the main gate.
School Parking at BHS requires a parking permit. Honor parking is the first row nearest the English/Fine Arts wing. Senior Row is the second row from the English/Fine Arts wing. Only students with Honors Parking permits are allowed to park on Honors Row, and only seniors are to park on Senior Row.
All students who drive to school are required to have a Parking Permit. Permits are $15 and can be purchased from Mrs. Wooten in the front office. Students who are ticketed for not having a parking permit will be fined $20.
Students that are interested in attending Savannah State University should see Mrs. Lowe concerning Scholarship opportunities.
Seniors interested in attending ABAC at Bainbridge or Tifton should go online and complete the Scholarship application. This application is for all ABAC scholarships. http://www.abac.edu/funding-my-education/scholarships
