Covid-19 has caused many changes to graduation traditions for our senior class. The faculty and staff of BHS wanted to show our seniors that we are so proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best. On Wednesday, May 20th the teachers and staff at BHS will be hosting a “Senior Parade” to show our love and say our goodbyes to the Class of 2020.
Seniors will lineup at St. Paul church by 6:00 PM on May 20th. Public Safety Officers will assist with student line up beginning at 5:50 PM. Seniors are welcome to make appropriate banners and signs to display during the parade. The parade will leave the church at 6:00 PM to head to BHS. Students will enter in the first entrance to the campus (not the guard shack entrance) and drive thru the bus parking lot and continue around between the practice field and the baseball fields and exit out the guard shack. Please do not exit your vehicles, this is a drive-by parade only. Senior banners and yard signs will be displayed along the fence and roadside of Bearcat Way. Faculty and staff will be lined up cheering for the students.
If parents want to watch the parade, please enter in the first entrance (not the guard shack entrance) and drive around to the large parking lot in front of the gym. To avoid interfering with the parade, parents should be parked by 6:15. Parents may form a line in their cars facing the tennis courts and band practice field to watch the parade. All parents should stay inside their vehicles.
Banners and Yard Signs: If any senior would like to take pictures in front of a banner or sign, the school will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 18 thru Thursday, May 21st. We ask that no banners or signs be removed during that time frame. Pickup instructions will be sent out at a later time.
